Jainy Writes About Her Experience at Even Cargo
The time I spent in DelhiOye as an intern from July to August 2016 was a memorable one for me as it
helped me discover my potential. I have had a great experience and opportunity that I personally
believe will forever shape and influence my professional life while fostering personal growth and
development.
The best part of the internship was, during the internship every day I got to do something new.
Right from working on the website and the staff panel, to contacting different NGOs. From writing
the CSR proposal to training the girls on soft skills. From exchanging the mails with the higher
government officials (including the PM and CM) to maintaining the training tracker. From hiring
android developers to deciding the story line for the CRS video. Every day was just a learning
experience.
I remember the day when sir told me to write the CSR proposal, trust me I was really nervous having
given such huge responsibility but I pushed myself to do it and was able to deliver one.
One of the best part of the days were Yogesh sir’s white board sessions wherein he used to guide us
how to start doing things in an organized and planned manner and walking us through some of the
MBA terms. Thank you sir for those wonderful session of yours. Your jokes and spontaneous
reactions were always a stress busters.
Apart from work we had a lot of interactive and brainstorming sessions, and how can I forget our
pizza parties, our serious talks about life and discussing each other’s positive and negative points.
I was looking for something to gain confidence in my abilities and to do something good for the
society. EvenCargo provided me the perfect ground to fulfil both my desires. It gave me the
opportunity to get the taste of working in the professional world at the same time I was satisfied
that I am contributing to the society in some way or the other. It truly prepared me for the working
environment.
In the end I really wanna thank Yogesh sir and Richa di for giving me this opportunity. I really had a
great time with you people the other interns (Kajal, Mitali and Yashana) and how can I forget
thanking Yashmees, Sunita and Pooja. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.
